About the role
Design, build, and optimize mechanical and automation systems for solar cell manufacturing equipment. Own and improve production lines for high-efficiency solar cells supporting Starlink.
What you’ll do
• Own electronics manufacturing subsystems from design to production ramp. • Develop design criteria and drive system-level optimization. • Perform failure modes and effects analysis and reliability modeling. • Design production lines including robot end effectors and automation programming. • Monitor equipment uptime and implement preventive maintenance.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor's degree in engineering. • Experience with CAD and FEA software. • 1+ years mechanical/electromechanical design experience. • Proficient in 3D CAD (NX preferred). • Ability to work long hours and weekends as needed.
