About the role
Join Supabase to build Spark, a lightweight Rust implementation of Supabase for fast, low-cost prototyping and seamless upgrade paths.
What you’ll do
• Grow API compatibility with Supabase client. • Bring Supabase stack to Turso/SQLite. • Work around database engine gaps with tests. • Build upgrade path from Spark to full Supabase. • Own developer experience: CLI, tooling, docs.
What you’ll bring
• Strong backend or full-stack Rust experience. • Comfortable across API, storage, infrastructure. • Solid SQL and relational database knowledge. • Experience with Postgres as reference. • Bias toward compatibility, correctness, and tests.
