About the role
Lead technical direction for developer tools and platforms at Toast. Build solutions to improve developer workflows and AI-native experiences.
What you’ll do
• Set technical direction for developer experience areas. • Oversee architecture of testing frameworks and core libraries. • Design and ship high-leverage platform components. • Collaborate with Product to prioritize developer workflow improvements. • Drive alignment with AI, CICD, and Cloud Infrastructure teams.
What you’ll bring
• 8+ years professional software engineering experience. • Expertise in Kotlin, Java, Go, or TypeScript. • Experience with build systems and dependency management. • Proven leadership of technical initiatives across teams. • Hands-on with AI-assisted development tools and practices.
