Lead backend development for Fanatics Core, driving scalable software solutions and technical excellence. Influence team strategy and deliver features from backend to frontend.
What you’ll do
• Drive development, testing, and deployment of scalable software. • Lead technical execution of complex features and systems. • Define and enforce engineering principles and best practices. • Partner with product and design for high-impact decisions. • Mentor engineers and foster continuous learning.
What you’ll bring
• 7+ years building scalable backend distributed systems. • Proficiency in Spring with Kotlin and/or Java. • Knowledge of observability practices in distributed systems. • Experience with Agile software delivery and cross-team collaboration. • Excellent communication skills and team-first mentality.
