About the role
Lead thermal system design and analysis for aircraft thermal environments and cooling solutions. Manage integration, testing, and supplier execution for thermal hardware.
What you’ll do
• Define and mature aircraft-level thermal environments. • Perform heat transfer and fluid mechanics calculations. • Design active and passive cooling solutions. • Develop thermal hardware layouts and CAD models. • Define and execute qualification test plans.
What you’ll bring
• US Citizen with active Secret or higher clearance. • 7-12 years aerospace thermal engineering experience. • B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. • Mastery of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid dynamics. • Experience with CFD and thermal-analysis tools.
