Join TeamSnap as a Staff Backend Engineer to build and scale backend APIs and services for millions of users. Lead technical design, mentor engineers, and improve system reliability and performance.
What you’ll do
• Architect and evolve backend APIs and services. • Own complex backend product and technical work. • Lead ambiguous technical initiatives. • Improve reliability and performance of production systems. • Debug complex production issues across systems.
What you’ll bring
• Strong Node expertise and backend engineering experience. • Experience with high-scale APIs and distributed systems. • Proficient in backend technologies like Node, TypeScript, Elixir, Ruby/Rails. • Strong SQL and relational database skills. • Understanding of service-oriented and event-driven architectures.
