About the role
The Staff Accountant owns recurring transactional accounting and reconciliation work driving Mobiz's monthly close using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This role requires full ownership of preparation and reconciliation tasks, not just assistance.
What you’ll do
• Prepare and post recurring close journal entries. • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and brokerage accounts monthly. • Prepare intercompany cross-charge entries and reconcile balances. • Own monthly payroll allocation and validate total allocated payroll. • Produce monthly P&L by department and perform variance analysis.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • Minimum 4 years progressive accounting experience. • At least 2 years hands-on Dynamics 365 Business Central experience. • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and revenue recognition. • Demonstrated accuracy under deadline with good judgment.
