About the role
Lead end-to-end cell efficiency ownership in high-volume silicon heterojunction solar cell fab. Develop and optimize solar cell production processes for Starlink and space missions.
What you’ll do
• Own cell efficiency roadmap across all production stages. • Define and qualify wafer specifications for SHJ compatibility. • Design SHJ cell architectures optimized for space conditions. • Develop fab-wide metrology and reliability testing strategies. • Mentor team and represent solar cell performance in design reviews.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline. • 5+ years chemical engineering design or system implementation. • Experience in solar cell physics or process integration. • Proficiency in PV simulation and data analysis tools. • Ability to work in cleanroom and lift 25 lbs.
