About the role
Design and implement data integration frameworks for batch and streaming workloads using Spark and Scala. Optimize distributed computing applications within Microsoft Fabric and Synapse Analytics environments.
What you’ll do
• Design and develop data integration pipelines using Apache Spark with Scala. • Build scalable batch and streaming workloads in Microsoft Fabric. • Perform advanced Spark performance tuning and query optimization. • Develop REST-based microservices and APIs on the JVM. • Maintain modular, testable, and maintainable code with functional programming.
What you’ll bring
• Strong proficiency in Scala programming and functional programming concepts. • 3+ years experience with Apache Spark (Scala/Java preferred). • Experience designing data models for analytics. • 3+ years experience with Synapse and Azure Data Services. • Hands-on expertise with Git, GitHub Actions, Maven, and SBT.
