About the role
Join PlanetScale's Postgres engineering team to build a managed Postgres platform for demanding workloads. Design and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant database infrastructure and tooling.
What you’ll do
• Design and build control plane for Postgres clusters. • Maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions. • Tune Postgres for large-scale workloads. • Build automation for database operations and migrations. • Work with customers to improve platform.
What you’ll bring
• 5+ years software engineering experience. • Strong Go proficiency, plus Ruby, Python, Zig or Rust. • Experience with distributed, fault-tolerant services. • Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized apps. • Experience operating large-scale distributed systems.
