About the role
Design and develop primary tanks and welded structures for launch vehicles from concept to flight readiness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver lightweight, reliable hardware.
What you’ll do
• Own full lifecycle of primary tanks and welded structures. • Design tank barrels, domes, bulkheads, weld joints, and attachments. • Perform sizing and design trades balancing performance and cost. • Work with analysts to verify strength and fatigue under loads. • Support fabrication, testing, and lead design reviews.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. • 7+ years designing flight vehicle structures. • Experience with metallic tanks and welded structures. • Proficient in CAD, GD&T, and tolerance analysis. • Must be U.S. citizen or lawful resident.
