About the role
Support selection, characterization, calibration, and integration of multi-modal navigation and localization sensors for the X-BAT State Estimation team. Work across software, electrical, and mechanical engineering disciplines to contribute to cross-functional engineering efforts.
What you’ll do
• Support sensor integration from specification through production. • Develop and execute sensor characterization and calibration procedures. • Collaborate with EE, ME, and SW teams on interfaces and mounting solutions. • Develop and execute test plans for sensor performance validation. • Document sensor characteristics and integration requirements.
What you’ll bring
• BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or related field. • 1-4 years relevant experience or strong internship/project experience. • Ability to work across electrical, mechanical, software domains. • Proficiency in scripting/programming for data analysis. • Familiarity with sensor communication protocols and lab equipment.
