About the role
Lead design and integration of flight control actuation systems for fixed-wing aircraft. Own system requirements, verification, and hardware qualification.
What you’ll do
• Define and own FCAS requirements and verification matrix. • Design control surface actuation systems and analyze performance. • Drive control law-actuator interface with flight controls. • Coordinate power, thermal, and structural integration. • Lead qualification test plans and program design reviews.
What you’ll bring
• 8-15 years in flight control actuation system design. • B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. • Experience sourcing aerospace components and test setups. • Ability to self-direct and deliver hardware under tight timelines. • Familiarity with MIL-HDBK-516 and MIL-STD-810 standards.
