About the role
You will own large impactful projects in Global KYC and Onboarding, designing scalable backend systems and ensuring compliance. Your work will improve customer verification experiences and support Wise's global financial services.
What you’ll do
• Own technical roadmap addressing debt, reliability, scalability, security. • Design and implement robust backend systems with clean APIs. • Integrate with risk and mitigation systems for compliance. • Identify and solve impactful problems within and beyond team. • Lead large-scale, cross-team technical initiatives.
What you’ll bring
• 4+ years experience with scalable microservices and async queues. • Strong product mindset focused on customer and compliance. • Data-driven decision making for complex problems. • Excellent communication of technical concepts. • Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
