About the role
Develop, operate, and scale relational database systems serving petabyte-scale data. Own query performance, cost, and availability for critical infrastructure.
What you’ll do
• Maintain fast, available customer-facing APIs with query tuning. • Reduce storage and compute costs using AI-assisted analysis. • Automate routine database operations for team efficiency. • Manage CDC pipelines and debug replication failures. • Prototype new data stores and migrate workloads.
What you’ll bring
• 5–8 years with production PostgreSQL and distributed Postgres. • Deep SQL optimization and AI-assisted query analysis skills. • Experience with CDC tools and AI debugging. • Database profiling and performance interpretation skills. • Production automation experience in Python or Go.
