Senior Security Engineer, Detection & Response

About the role
You will own detection engineering and incident response end to end, building and tuning detections and automations. The role involves defining telemetry, threat hunting, and responding to real security incidents globally.
What you’ll do
• Build and tune detections across endpoint, identity, SaaS, and cloud. • Own incident response: triage, contain, remediate, and write retrospectives. • Build automation to remove toil from investigations. • Define telemetry requirements for new systems before shipping. • Threat hunt proactively and convert hypotheses into detections.
What you’ll bring
• 5–8 years experience in detection engineering or incident response. • Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar programming language. • Experience with modern SIEM or detection pipeline. • Practical incident response experience. • Experience writing and tuning detection logic in production.
