About the role
Join Wise's Risk & Control Governance team to build governance, assurance, and data foundations for consistent risk decisions. Develop scalable, auditable, and explainable risk assessment systems.
What you’ll do
• Build data ownership, lineage, and quality monitoring systems. • Design continuous monitoring and validation systems for controls. • Implement audit trails and explainability tooling. • Design scalable, high-throughput risk solutions. • Integrate governance with Risk API platform.
What you’ll bring
• Proven backend engineering with Kafka, SQL, NoSQL. • Experience with data quality frameworks and lineage tracking. • Strong systems thinking for distributed systems. • Ability to work autonomously and define own work. • Collaborative mindset across teams and stakeholders.
