About the role
Lead the engineering and operations team for Vultr's cloud storage portfolio. Oversee design, deployment, and operation of block, object, and file storage services globally.
What you’ll do
• Lead and grow a high-performing storage engineering team. • Own technical delivery of block, object, and file storage products. • Drive architecture decisions for multi-tenant, multi-tier storage platforms. • Ensure five-nines availability, durability, and performance SLAs. • Manage capacity planning, cost optimization, and vendor relationships.
What you’ll bring
• 7+ years storage engineering experience, 3+ in management. • Expertise with Ceph and distributed storage architectures. • Experience with multi-tenant cloud storage services at scale. • Strong knowledge of block, object, and file storage protocols. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
