About the role
Own the reliability, performance, and cost efficiency of the PostgreSQL data platform behind Storyblok's CMS. Collaborate with teams to ensure database platform stability and scalability.
What you’ll do
• Own reliability and performance of PostgreSQL platform. • Lead zero-downtime upgrades and schema migrations. • Manage operational health and backup strategies. • Deliver infrastructure and automation with Terraform and AWS. • Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
What you’ll bring
• 7+ years in database engineering with PostgreSQL expertise. • Experience with Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL and AWS. • Strong Infrastructure-as-Code skills, primarily Terraform. • Proficient in Linux and scripting languages. • Excellent communication and remote work skills.
