About the role
The Senior Buyer obtains materials and equipment from suppliers at the lowest cost while ensuring quality and urgency needs. This role supports supply chain initiatives and manages purchase requisitions and vendor negotiations.
What you’ll do
• Review purchase requisitions for quantities and specifications. • Prioritize urgent medical and patient care orders. • Research product availability and alternative suppliers. • Negotiate price, purchase terms, and equipment lifecycle costs. • Manage electronic capital budget process and approvals.
What you’ll bring
• 4+ years applicable experience. • High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's preferred. • Skills in materials management systems and data analysis. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to negotiate terms and work collaboratively.
