About the role
The Senior Buyer ensures compliance with purchasing processes and manages contracts and supplier relationships. They oversee contract administration and purchasing activities to optimize savings and minimize risks.
What you’ll do
• Ensure compliance with company purchasing rules and laws. • Prepare and negotiate contracts and commercial bids. • Supervise and train contract engineers and buyers. • Manage purchase orders and supplier deliveries. • Monitor contractor performance and handle claims.
What you’ll bring
• Degree in Engineering, Management or Social Sciences. • 7 years experience in contract administration. • Knowledge of commercial, legal and insurance issues. • Good command of English and communication skills. • Membership in relevant professional bodies is a plus.
