About the role
Join the mobile platform engineering team to build games experiences for the New York Times Games App. Design features, shape technical direction, and improve performance and accessibility.
What you’ll do
• Architect scalable features using Kotlin and Android frameworks. • Lead projects and contribute to architectural decisions. • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams. • Mentor junior and mid-level developers. • Promote best Android development standards.
What you’ll bring
• 5+ years full-time software engineering experience. • 3+ years Android-focused experience. • Experience with Kotlin and unit testing. • Knowledge of Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Hilt/Dagger, Room. • Experience with MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture.
