About the role
The Ruby Developer will extend an existing Rails application to support additional data types. The role involves working full or part time onsite, remote, or hybrid at the Australian National Botanic Gardens.
What you’ll do
• Extend Rails application for data entry and updates. • Work productively in a small team environment. • Explain, listen and discuss code and tasks. • Develop high quality online interfaces using Rails. • Integrate development environment with NSL practices.
What you’ll bring
• Experience with Rails framework development. • Technical skills in Ruby, Postgresql, JQuery, Bootstrap. • Knowledge of Minitest, Git, AWS hosting, Jenkins. • Effective written and verbal communication skills. • Eligible to work in Australia with valid visa.
