About the role
Provide high-quality, woman-centred maternity care through antenatal, labour, birth, and postnatal periods. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and positive birth experiences.
What you’ll do
• Conduct antenatal assessments and monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing. • Monitor labour progress and support spontaneous vaginal births. • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records. • Provide advice on maternal wellbeing and newborn care. • Recognise complications and escalate concerns promptly.
What you’ll bring
• Knowledge of maternal and newborn assessment and emergency response. • Recent maternity care experience in clinical setting. • Current competence in antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care. • Current midwife registration with relevant regulatory body. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
