Propulsion Test Engineer

About the role
Responsible for testing Raptor engine components including valves and actuators. Design tooling and run test campaigns to ensure reliability under extreme conditions.
What you’ll do
• Own test plans, procedures, and campaigns from development to qualification. • Execute pressure, leak, thermal, and vibration testing on components. • Design and improve test tooling and ground support equipment. • Write procedures and train technicians and engineers. • Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics. • 1+ years hands-on experience with mechanical, fluid, or electrical systems. • Experience with pressure or leak testing of fluid or gas hardware. • Ability to read fluid and electrical schematics and engineering drawings. • Willingness to travel 10% and work extended hours as needed.
