About the role
Provide support on trade and investment policy programming and facilitate regional value chain review mechanisms in selected sectors. Focus on market access barriers and policy reforms to improve SME export competitiveness in ECOWAS.
What you’ll do
• Support ECOWAS Commission in organizing policy and value chain platform meetings. • Identify and prioritize regulatory trade and investment barriers. • Facilitate design and monitoring of regional value chain review mechanisms. • Collect and analyze data related to value chain results. • Support communication and outreach activities including reports and social media.
What you’ll bring
• Advanced degree in economics, trade, law, or related field. • Minimum two years relevant experience in trade and investment policy. • Experience in value chain and sector development desirable. • Strong research, communication, and planning skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis.
