About the role
Lead the end-to-end procurement cycle and manage a small procurement team in Abuja. Ensure compliance with CHAI policy, budgets, and Nigerian law while maintaining supplier relationships.
What you’ll do
• Manage full procurement cycle from planning to contract close-out. • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and Nigerian law. • Lead supplier negotiations and manage vendor database. • Coach and line manage procurement staff. • Manage procurement spend and report to senior stakeholders.
What you’ll bring
• 7+ years procurement or supply chain experience. • Experience with competitive tenders and evaluation committees. • Bachelor's degree in related field; advanced certifications a plus. • Knowledge of Nigerian import, customs, and tax exemption. • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
