About the role
Lead design, analysis, and integration of aircraft avionics thermal management systems. Solve complex thermal engineering challenges for unmanned aerial vehicles.
What you’ll do
• Own thermal architecture and design strategy for UAV avionics and aircraft systems. • Lead trade studies balancing thermal performance with integration constraints. • Develop and validate heat transfer and fluid flow models using CFD tools. • Define verification strategies and guide test planning and data analysis. • Mentor engineers and establish reusable thermal design methods.
What you’ll bring
• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. • 12+ years in avionics or electronics thermal engineering. • Expertise in heat transfer and fluid mechanics. • Proficiency with thermal analysis and CFD tools. • Strong communication and mentoring skills.
