About the role
Assist patients by communicating with insurance payors to determine benefits and obtain Pre-Certifications. Ensure Pre-Service process completion before patient arrival for scheduled services.
What you’ll do
• Prepare and validate new cases for pre-scheduled services. • Verify benefits and obtain authorizations from insurance companies. • Use EPIC system to verify benefits eligibility. • Communicate patient liability and perform collection estimation. • Provide point-of-service information for exceptional patient experience.
What you’ll bring
• High School diploma or equivalent required. • 1 year related experience in hospital or customer service. • Preferred experience with EPIC system. • Strong computer and communication skills. • Ability to multitask and remain professional under stress.
