About the role
Review payor peer-to-peer cases to ensure compliant revenue and proper documentation. Advise clients on authorization appropriateness and discuss cases with payor medical directors.
What you’ll do
• Review denied authorization cases for documentation and clinical appropriateness. • Engage with payor medical directors on authorization status. • Provide written case analysis across multiple specialties. • Serve as clinical resource for documentation and utilization issues. • Respond timely to payor and customer inquiries.
What you’ll bring
• Active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license. • Minimum 3 years clinical experience post-residency. • Strong clinical knowledge across multiple areas. • Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in basic computer skills.
