About the role
Responsible for accurately posting and reconciling insurance and patient payments for healthcare clients. Manage ERAs, EOBs, EFTs, and payment discrepancies ensuring accurate financial records.
What you’ll do
• Post insurance payments from ERAs and EOBs. • Reconcile EFTs and checks against remittance advice. • Identify and research unmatched or unapplied payments. • Apply contractual adjustments per payer requirements. • Communicate payment issues to appropriate teams.
What you’ll bring
• 1-2 years medical payment posting or billing experience preferred. • Experience posting insurance ERAs/EOBs. • Understanding of healthcare reimbursement and EOBs. • Strong numerical and reconciliation skills. • Ability to maintain accuracy with high transaction volumes.
