About the role
Oversee lifting operations offshore ensuring safety and compliance with lift plans and statutory requirements. Manage personnel competence and monitor performance during lifts.
What you’ll do
• Select correct crane and accessories for tasks. • Prepare lift plans and ensure controls are in place. • Ensure lifting equipment is maintained and examined. • Brief and monitor personnel involved in lifts. • Suspend lifts if conditions deviate from plan.
What you’ll bring
• Ensure personnel competence and awareness. • Verify availability of test certificates and permits. • Identify hazards and restricted areas. • Ensure clear communication and supervision. • Manage special issues like language barriers.
