About the role
The MTCS Pharmacist oversees specialty pharmaceutical care plans including patient evaluations and care plan development. Coordinates with clinical providers to ensure safe and timely pharmaceutical care delivery.
What you’ll do
• Conduct initial patient evaluations and develop care plans. • Coordinate with physicians and healthcare providers. • Monitor therapeutic outcomes and recommend therapy modifications. • Provide patient counseling and drug information. • Prepare and dispense medication orders with QA checks.
What you’ll bring
• Degree or equivalent with 2+ years relevant experience. • Licensed pharmacist in Delaware or able to obtain Illinois license. • Pharm.D. or BS in Pharmacy from accredited school. • Experience with specialty drug workflows and payer requirements. • Knowledge of medication access and prior authorization.
