About the role
Lead molecular breeding research focusing on trait discovery, data analysis, and genotyping projects. Support capacity building and coordinate genotyping services for breeding programs.
What you’ll do
• Conduct QTL analysis and develop molecular markers. • Analyse genotypic and phenotypic datasets. • Prepare technical reports and presentations. • Supervise and train students and researchers. • Manage lab operations and procurement.
What you’ll bring
• MSc in Molecular Biology or related field. • 10 years molecular biology lab experience. • Proficient with TASSEL, PLINK, RStudio, Galaxy. • Strong scientific writing and presentation skills. • Experience in procurement and data management.
