About the role
Lead molecular breeding research focusing on trait discovery, data analysis, and genotyping services. Support capacity building and lab operations at IITA headquarters in Ibadan.
What you’ll do
• Conduct QTL analysis and develop molecular markers. • Analyse large-scale genotypic and phenotypic data. • Support training and supervise students and interns. • Coordinate genotyping services and vendor relations. • Manage lab procurement and project operations.
What you’ll bring
• MSc in Molecular Biology or related field. • 10 years molecular biology lab experience. • Proficient with TASSEL, PLINK, RStudio, Galaxy. • Strong scientific writing and presentation skills. • Experience in data curation and database management.
