About the role
Join Lyft's Routing team to build and maintain systems providing efficient routes for millions of ride requests daily. Focus on machine learning solutions with high reliability and low latency.
What you’ll do
• Perform data analysis and build ML and non-ML proof-of-concepts. • Make tradeoffs between model accuracy and runtime performance. • Develop statistical, machine learning, or optimization models. • Write scalable production quality code. • Participate in code reviews and incident triaging.
What you’ll bring
• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field. • 3+ years of machine learning experience. • Experience with big data tools like Apache Airflow and Spark/Flink (nice-to-have). • Proficiency in SQL languages. • Ability to work in distributed teams across time zones.
