Medical Billing Coordinator

About the role
Responsible for accurate and thorough medical billing processes working collaboratively with patients and team members. This remote role requires self-accountability to drive success in a virtual team environment.
What you’ll do
• Interact with insurance plans, clinics, patients, and team members. • Maintain lawful billing practices and current payer information. • Participate in daily revenue cycle management processes. • Support leadership with reporting needs. • Meet daily productivity and quality standards.
What you’ll bring
• High school diploma or GED required. • Minimum two years medical billing experience. • Ability to work independently and in a team. • Experience with Microsoft Office and billing systems preferred. • Knowledge of revenue cycle, Medicare, Medicaid.
