About the role
Operate and monitor engines to ensure smooth, safe, and reliable operations. Conduct root cause analysis and support corrective actions for engine trips.
What you’ll do
• Start, run and stop engine operations. • Carry out engine fitting jobs. • Conduct risk assessments for switching operations. • Maintain hourly engine running records. • Train and coach a trainee on engine operation.
What you’ll bring
• OND or Grade 3 trade test. • Minimum 3 years post qualification experience. • Experience with steam turbines, boilers, generators. • Perform plant start-up, shutdown, and monitoring. • Handle emergency situations and follow safety procedures.
