About the role
Design and develop mechanical systems for drone aircraft including airframe and structures. Participate in full product lifecycle from concept to production and flight testing.
What you’ll do
• Own mechanical design of drone platforms. • Balance weight, strength, aerodynamics, and payload. • Integrate propulsion, batteries, avionics into airframe. • Perform structural, thermal, vibration analysis. • Prototype, build, test, and improve hardware.
What you’ll bring
• BS/MS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. • 5+ years designing hardware for drones or aircraft. • Experience with flight-critical structures design. • Strong understanding of aircraft flight mechanics. • Proficiency in CAD, SolidWorks preferred.
