About the role
Responsible for materials selection, corrosion assessment, and integrity management for hull systems and FLNG facilities. Develop corrosion-control strategies and ensure compliance with project specifications.
What you’ll do
• Develop and review materials selection reports and corrosion studies. • Recommend suitable materials for piping, equipment, and hull systems. • Assess corrosion mechanisms including pitting and galvanic corrosion. • Support selection of protective coatings and cathodic protection. • Participate in design reviews and failure investigations.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Materials or related Engineering discipline. • 8–12 years in materials and corrosion engineering in Oil & Gas. • Experience with offshore facilities, LNG/FLNG, FPSO, marine systems. • Knowledge of corrosion mechanisms and protective coatings. • Familiarity with AMPP/NACE, API, and ISO standards.
