Materials & Corrosion Engineer

About the role
Support materials selection and corrosion management for hull and offshore facilities. Participate in design reviews and integrity assessments.
What you’ll do
• Support selection of protective coatings and corrosion inhibitors. • Review material compatibility and welding requirements. • Ensure vendor compliance with material specifications. • Develop corrosion management strategies and inspection plans. • Assess corrosion mechanisms and participate in failure investigations.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor’s in Materials, Metallurgical, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. • 8–12 years in materials and corrosion engineering. • Experience with offshore facilities, LNG/FLNG, FPSO, marine systems. • Familiarity with AMPP/NACE, API, and ISO standards. • Relevant corrosion or materials certifications advantageous.
