About the role
Lead the planning, design, execution, and interpretation of complex hydraulic and sediment transport physical modelling studies. Support the Philippines Engineering Centre remotely with occasional site visits to Sri Lanka.
What you’ll do
• Lead design and operation of hydraulic physical models. • Design fixed-bed and mobile bed models for hydraulic assessment. • Collaborate with geomorphologists and hydrologists. • Integrate physical and numerical modelling for risk assessment. • Lead client presentations and technical workshops.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor's in Civil, Hydraulic, or Environmental Engineering. • Master's or PhD preferred in related fields. • 10+ years in hydraulic physical modelling. • Expertise in mobile bed models and hydraulic testing. • Strong knowledge of hydrology and sediment transport.
