About the role
Lead the Internal Audit function to review financial and management reports, conduct risk-based audits, and ensure compliance with Nigerian laws. Develop audit frameworks and provide assurance over financial reporting, controls, risk management, and governance.
What you’ll do
• Design audit charter, operating model, and annual audit plan. • Define department structure and hire team members. • Verify compliance with investment agreements and KPIs. • Investigate irregularities and lead special reviews. • Report findings to management and Audit Committee.
What you’ll bring
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, ISA, and Nigerian regulations. • Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. • Professional qualification like ICAN, ACCA, ACA. • 8-10 years post-qualification experience with 5 years leadership. • Experience building or restructuring audit functions.
