About the role
Lead the Tax function across MTN Nigeria and subsidiaries, managing tax strategy, compliance, risk, and advisory. Provide strategic tax advice and oversee tax authority engagements and team development.
What you’ll do
• Lead tax strategy, policy and governance across MTN Nigeria and subsidiaries. • Maintain tax risk register and control framework. • Oversee tax compliance, filing and payments. • Provide strategic tax advice on business decisions and investments. • Represent MTN before tax authorities and manage disputes.
What you’ll bring
• First Degree in Accounting or related discipline. • Full professional membership of ICAN, CITN or ACCA. • Minimum 12 years tax experience including 3 years senior management. • Experience in telecommunications or regulated sectors. • Fluency in written and spoken English.
