About the role
Lead the Tax function across MTN Nigeria and subsidiaries, managing tax strategy, compliance, risk, and efficiency. Provide strategic tax advice and oversee tax authority engagements and dispute resolutions.
What you’ll do
• Lead tax strategy, governance, compliance and risk management. • Drive tax process optimisation and cost efficiency. • Provide tax advice on business ventures and transactions. • Manage tax compliance and reporting for all applicable taxes. • Represent MTN before tax authorities and manage disputes.
What you’ll bring
• First degree in Accounting or related discipline. • Professional qualification: ICAN, CITN, or ACCA. • Minimum 12 years tax experience including 3 years senior management. • Experience in telecommunications or regulated sectors. • Fluent in written and spoken English.
