Financial Clearance Analyst

About the role
Responsible for financial clearance of complex patient authorizations including insurance verification and price estimation. Coordinates patient account activities from scheduling through account clearance to prevent financial loss.
What you’ll do
• Collect and document patient insurance and benefits information. • Obtain prior authorizations from third-party payers. • Use Epic applications for procedure codes. • Maintain professional communication with patients and payers. • Participate in quality improvement efforts.
What you’ll bring
• High school graduate or GED required, Associate Degree preferred. • CRCS or equivalent certification required or in process. • 2-3 years experience in insurance authorization or revenue cycle preferred. • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance reimbursement.
