Field Engineer

About the role
Support power plant development by managing rotating equipment integration from specification to commissioning. Work across gas turbines, steam turbines, and HRSGs, including construction and troubleshooting on site.
What you’ll do
• Develop technical specifications for turbines and auxiliaries. • Lead evaluation of OEM proposals and equipment selection. • Manage mechanical interfaces between major equipment packages. • Review and approve OEM drawings and layouts. • Support commissioning and startup activities on-site.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. • 2+ years experience with utility-scale rotating equipment. • Knowledge of rotor dynamics, bearing design, and lube oil systems. • Experience with F-class or H-class gas turbines. • Comfort working with OEM engineering teams under schedule pressure.
