About the role
Work at the intersection of AI, task & motion planning, and controls to design autonomous behaviors for uncrewed aircraft. Develop and test autonomy systems using real sensor data and simulations.
What you’ll do
• Design and implement autonomous behaviours for uncrewed aircraft. • Build robust sensor fusion solutions with real sensor data. • Develop and test autonomy systems in simulations. • Integrate autonomy products with third-party aircraft and systems. • Collaborate across teams and mentor junior engineers.
What you’ll bring
• Tertiary qualification in CS, Mechatronics, Software Engineering or related. • Significant experience in robotics, autonomy, perception or aerospace. • Strong experience in modern C++. • Experience building reliable software systems in fast-paced environments. • Preferred: experience with uncrewed systems and defence industry.
