About the role
Lead GitLab's employment law matters across EMEA, managing the full employment lifecycle and legal risks. Build scalable legal processes and provide expert advice on complex employment issues.
What you’ll do
• Provide senior employment-law advice balancing risk and business objectives. • Manage employment lifecycle matters including recruiting and separation. • Negotiate with works councils and lead consultation processes. • Represent GitLab in labor courts and tribunals. • Develop scalable employment-law processes and documentation.
What you’ll bring
• Law degree and admitted to practice in an EMEA jurisdiction. • Experience advising multinational companies with works councils. • Track record managing labor court and tribunal proceedings. • Deep knowledge of EMEA employment compliance and GDPR. • Strong communication and problem-solving skills in remote environments.
