About the role
Provide medical expertise and support for disability claims assessment and consultation. Coordinate medical reviews and train new analysts to ensure claim accuracy and consistency.
What you’ll do
• Review and analyze medical records for disability claims. • Communicate medical assessments with physicians and analysts. • Coordinate claim referrals with medical directors and consultants. • Train new disability benefits analysts and prepare presentations. • Participate in projects and resolve claim medical disputes.
What you’ll bring
• 5-8 years nursing or physician assistant experience. • Experience in complex claims assessment and communication. • Strong decision-making and leadership skills. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Knowledge of disability insurance and orthopedic medicine.
